Description
a large, 11 meter long caiman that lived in the miocene, 8 million years ago in south america. this crocodyliforme is characterized by it's massive, beefy skull that hold sharp, steak- like teeth. it could be adaptions for crushing the hard shells of the large turtles it coexisted with such as stupendemys geographicus. that being said, it also show adaption for perfoming the death role, so not only do i doubt it was limited to such hard shell prey, but i also i doubt any of the mammals living along side it were safe from that terrifying mouth
